About the challenge
MapleHacks is Canada's first socially-focused hackathon which aims to bring tangible impact to issues within the local communities.
The hackathon is based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which were adopted in 2015 as a global call to action for social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Requirements
Any student who has been ACCEPTED to participate and hack at MapleHacks is eligible to submit a project. Your project must follow the Rules outlined for this event - see the Rules tab for more details.
What to Build
Hackers can submit projects to four different categories. There will be three categories, each catering to one of the SDGs that we have adopted for MapleHacks. The prompts for these categories will be released shortly before hacking begins.
The fourth is a general category, where you can build anything you desire. Show us your creativity and your technical abilities! (However, you will only be able to be considered for 3 non SDG prize categories)
If you decide to submit an SDG project, make sure to opt into your chosen SDG prize category when submitting!
What to Submit
Submit your team's GitHub repository and/or any other files that your team produced (especially if its a no/low code solution). Short explanations are welcome as well, but not required
- Please add each member of your team to your project
Please indicate all the prizes you would like to be considered for. If it is found that you are attempting to mislead yourselves to be considered for a prize you should not be, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED from receiving any prize.
